Double-entry bookkeeping, a full chart of accounts, periods and fiscal years, VAT reporting, dimensions, contracts, payroll and fixed assets. Every change lands in a tamper-evident audit trail where each step is cryptographically chained to the last. Anything that changes the books waits for your confirmation.
Your books are open to other AI agents
Trivis ships a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so Claude or any MCP-compatible assistant can read your reports and prepare entries with your permission. Your accounting isn't locked behind one window.
- What is AI accounting?
- AI accounting means the data entry and account selection are done by the model rather than a person. You supply the input — a document or a task — and confirm the result. In Trivis the AI doesn't replace accounting rules, it follows them: entries are still double-entry and stay auditable.
- Does an AI accountant replace a bookkeeper?
- No. Trivis does the routine part — entry, matching, assembling reports — and leaves the judgement to a person. For a bookkeeper that means more clients in the same hours; for a business owner it means the books are current rather than reconstructed at month end.
- Is Trivis suitable for an Estonian company?
- Yes. Trivis is built in Estonia for Estonian accounting: euros, Estonian VAT rates and VAT returns, an Estonian chart of accounts and e-invoicing support.
- Can I send and receive e-invoices?
- Yes — and for free. Setting e-invoicing up is easy too: you get a link for the company owner to sign. Our partner Billberry makes the whole thing painless.
- How many users can I invite to my company for free?
- As many as you like. Give each of them a role. It costs us nothing, so it costs you nothing.
- Can I import bank statements and generate payment files?
- Yes. Trivis supports the CSV files of every Estonian bank, plus those of several popular international providers. Payment files are in the pain.001 format and have been tested against Estonian banks.
- Do statements arrive from the bank automatically?
- Trivis has an agreement with LHV that lets our users switch on LHV Connect and receive account statements quickly and conveniently. Importing a statement finds your unpaid invoices, checks the payer's name, and checks whether there are sufficient funds in the account. If something doesn't line up, "AI analysis" compares your documents against the statement rows and recovers the missing links.
- Do I have to trust the AI's decisions?
- You don't. Every step that changes the books waits for your confirmation, and every step is visible in the audit trail: which tool ran, on what data, with what result. You can always see how a number came to be.
- Where is the data stored and how is it secured?
- Estonian customers' data is held in a cloud located in Estonia. The security is comparable to that of banking services. Backups run automatically to a second data store: continuously, plus fixed point-in-time snapshots. Every customer's data is isolated from every other customer's.
